The next technique that I'm very happy to show you is stamping with glitter. What girl doesn't love a little sparkle? Let's get started. The first thing I'm going to do is stamp with my stamp with versa mark ink. I just ink it up. I'm just using a very simple design with some blue. Then I'm going to put on some heat and stick powder. I'm going to be pretty generous with this. I like to have something underneath though so it doesn't get everywhere. I'm going to pour some heat and stick powder on it. What this is going to do is it's going to act as a base and it's going to help the glitter stick. Pour that on and then knock it off. Then I'll scoop that all back into the container. Then I'm going to heat up this heat and stick powder. Again, be careful when you're using your heat tool. It is hot and you don't want to get burned. Of course, always supervise children while you're doing this. The heat and stick powder is already melted and ready to go. Now come the fun part. Add the glitter. I say the more glitter the better. You might as well just come to the fact that you're going to have glitter on you for the rest of the day. If you're out at the store or something and you've got glitter on you, people will know you've been stamping. Now that my glitter is on, I'm just going to give it one final heat. This way the glitter adheres to the paper really well. You're just giving this is a light heat. You don't want to burn your paper or burn your glitter. That's enough and you have a beautiful, beautiful glittered object. These make your cards really pop. I hope you'll give glitter a try.
