How to Use Markers for Stamping

Coloring with markers is a fun technique and you can use many different ways. The first thing I'm going to show you is stamping with a regular stamp. Ink your stamp up, stamp it, ink your flower, your birthday candles up and stamp it. That's a beautiful stamp, but let me show you another way to really kick that up a notch. First I'm going to clean them. I want my birthday cake to be a lot of colors. I'm going to make the base of my birthday cake blue. I'm just going to take my marker and I'm going to color just on the base of that birthday cake. Then I want the middle of the cake of course, to be pink because that's my favorite cake with pink frosting, probably with vanilla inside. Then I need of course, my birthday candles to be yellow on top to designate the flame. I won't tell you how many candles are on my cake. Then the actual candle is going to be blue. Let me stamp this. What we're going to do now is called huffing. This ink with dry, so I'm just going to huff. That just gives it a little moisture. Go ahead and stamp it. I have a multi colored birthday cake that I personally designed. Once again, you can use this with all of your card stock, all the colors that you want to make each design your own.
