How to Clean Stamps

I've just finished a full day of stamping and I've had a lot of fun. Now comes the important part, cleaning your tools, because a clean tool is a happy tool. Say all these stamps are dirty. They're all inked up. What I need to do is clean them before I put them away. I'm going to take my cleaning pad. I have a wet side and a dry side. I'm just going to spray some of the cleaning spray on it. What I want to do is just kind of rub the stamp. I usually count to 1-10 or something like that. Then you're going to go ahead and do it on the dry side. Then I stamp off on my paper to make sure that it's clean. I'll do it again. I'm just going to rub a little bit, dry it, and stamp it off on my paper. Real quick and easy. You'll have clean stamps. They'll be ready to go the next time you stamp. You may notice that some of these stamps have a little bit of staining. Staining is okay. Staining doesn't mean that your stamp can't work. It just means that you've used a darker in, and sometimes the rubber will stain a little bit and that's alright. Once again, make sure your stamps are cleaned after each time. That way you'll have nice neat projects, and you'll enjoy going into your stamping room.
