Alright in this we're going to talk about the prep that you need, because now that you took the manifold seals off, they've left some behind. You don't want to put new seals back over this because it won't seal. That's where the steel wool comes in handy, basically I've got my polishing steel wool, my fine grit steel wool, and this is what I like to use for it. If you have a blast cabinet, which we have, you can also blast these. And that cleans them up really nice. But we want to clean this surface here, because you can see where this residue stayed behind. You can also see on the flanges. Where'd the flange go? Here we go. That's going to make for a bad seal there, so we also want to clean these up by taking the steel wool and rubbing them in there, and cleaning it up, it smoothes out the surface, makes for a better seal.
