In this clip, we're going to be taking off the backplate, to gain access to the carburetor, so we can remove the card. There's one of the seals, that you also want to change, besides the manifold. Seals would be the seal going, it's a rubber seal going from the manifold to the carburetor, you want to change that too. You want to remove the breather bolts. Now, before we remove the carburetor we have a factory crimp clamp, that we're going to want to disconnect and we're also going to disconnect the throttle and idol cables. You can hang them out of the way, depending on how long the throttle and idol cables are but these are pretty tight, so we want to remove it because one of the other things, I like to do and this happens on all carbureted bikes, your slow jet, is clogged or it's about to be clogged, so we're also going to drop, before we put the carburetor back on the bike, now that we've got nice new gaskets in here, while we're in here, we're going to drop the bowl and blow out, check the slow jet, depending on how long the bike was sitting, you might want to check the main jet too, that's a pretty big jet. If that's clogged, the bike's been sitting for a while. The other thing you want to look out for is the condition of this gasket here. This gasket looks ok and you can reuse these. Sometimes when you go to pull the cover off, they'll stick and they'll tear at which point you want to change that gasket but his gasket looks ok so we're not going to change it.
