How to Assemble Greek Fish Plaki

VICTORIA GUTAVAS: Now that we have all of the ingredients together, it's time for assembly. So just lightly mix all of your wet and dry ingredients in the bowl here. And with that wonderful ladle, whoops, what you're going to do is you actually ladle in half of the mixture on the bottom of your pan, and it's going to be really juicy and really wonderful. But this is actually going to create the bed for the fish. And the reason that you're ladling this and you don't even have to oil your pan is because of that wonderful, rich olive oil that's here in the sauce itself. So once you've got about half of this on here, you're going to take your fish fillets that have been salt and peppered and you're going to gently layer them all the way across the mixture. These are gorgeous big, fat fish fillets. This is going to be delicious. And then with the balance of the mixture here, just ladle it over the fish. My grandmother would be so proud to have me sharing this recipe with all of you. So wherever you are [PH] Yaya Fortini, this one's for you. And just very simply finish off your dish. And it's ready to go in the oven. And it's going to bake for 50 minutes on 375. So hopefully, your oven has been pre-heated to 375 and we're going to cook this dish for 50 minutes.
