How to Play "Deck the Halls" on Bagpipes

NEIL HUBBARD: So, I'm going to play our first simple melody, a tune that probably everybody knows, "Deck the Halls", Christmas song. Watch my fingers and listen for clean transitions between the notes and a nice even tempo. So, as I played through that tune, I took a breath wherever I needed to. Take a breath wherever you're comfortable taking a breath, but try and keep the flow of the melody going as you take your breath. The other thing, again, that is important to do is have straight fingers and help you get nice clean transitions between each one of the notes.
