How to Use your Chest in Popping

Hello ladies and gentlemen I'm Jon Coker, better known on the stage as Flo Motion, and I'm representing Animotion Entertainment. On behalf of Expert Village I'm here to show you the basics of a dance style called Popping. Our next step, we're going to throw in the chest. Instead of just stepping out, we're going to throw in the chest and switch directions. Alright? Let me show you real quick. So ready? It goes, five, six, seven, eight. One, two. One, two. Chest one, two. Bring it down, switch, step, step. It's a little more complicated, but I'll break it down one more time. So, you're going to do the same two steps with your hands. Ready? So it goes one, two. One, two. Chest one, two. Bring it down, and you're just going to slide your leg out. So it goes from chest and you're going to slide it down like this. Switching your directions. So your feet go like this. You're switching from here, switching out here, stepping through, and come back up. Alright? We'll try that real quickly. It's a little more complicated but, you know, you can go back and watch it again after this. Already? Five, six, seven, eight. One, two. One, two. One, two. One, two. One, two. One, two. Alright?
