Hi, I'm Melina Piroso and welcome to Expert Village. Today I'm going to show you how to make cute little bag out of regular everyday fabrics. So for our next step we're going to sew our strap onto our bag. So we're going to take the strap and we're going to place it right where the seam is. And again, we're going to make sure that we have changed the color that we're going to be using. Our outside thread color. You're going to want to make very strong stitches right here. You're going to want to go back and forth a few times to make sure that this is really on strong. If anything, this is your most important stitch because you don't want your strap to unravel from your bag and all of your belongings to spill on the floor, so. You're going to cut off all of your excess threads. And then you're going to make sure that you don't sew your strap on twisted, so you have to kind of stretch it and make sure that you're sewing it evenly. Go back and forth over it a few times.
