Questions & AnswersHi. I?m Melina Piroso and welcome to Expert Village. Today I?m going to show you how to make this cute little bag out of regular, everyday fabrics. In this next step, we're going to cut out the two pieces of fabric that we have for our lining. So, since we're making the lining a little bit smaller and we've measured about a half an inch right here on each side, or a quarter inch on each side, a half inch total. We're going to just cut about a half an inch outside of that because our bag is going to be, our lining is going to be smaller than our bag. Okay. And again, never throw any of your scraps away. All of these little scraps that you make along the way I save them and I put them into a big bag and when I have enough, I make a pillow out of it. You chop it up with scissors as much as you can until it's almost like a fluff and you can use it as stuffing for pillows. So, again, never throw anything away. It's thrifty and it's earth conscious and it'll save you some money.
