LAUREN FARRAHER: My name is Lauren, and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm here to talk to you about curly hair updos that you can do at home. Now, you're probably wondering what exactly to do with the front. We've already curled her back ponytails, and we already have our three ponytails there. So now the front, you're going to want to add into it. Now, it's up to you how you do the front. You have a few different options. You can go to the side and do more of a side part. What you're going to do then is you're going to take the section over, do that little twist and kinda smooth it out. Just grab that piece. Twist and then you're going to go through with the pin. This is when you're going to start using your bobby pins. It's important that you go through and you actually pin into that twist and you're going to feel that it's going to grab some of that hair from the ponytail. That's okay because you want it to do that. Now this next piece, what I will do is just kinda overlay it. It makes it a little bit more intricate on the side 'cause you have that bit of that crisscross pattern. Now to place this one, what I'm going to do is pull it back towards that ponytail and we're going to crisscross our bobby pins in order to keep it there and lock the style in place. So I'm doing one going up and one coming down. Now as you look at it, she's a little bit sleeker from the front. She's got that nice separation over here. And she's already kind of working the rest of her hair back in order to create that updo.
