How to Design a Button

ROBYN LYMAN: This is Robyn with Expert Village. Now that we've got our cross and an "X" through it, I'm going to show you the next stage of the drawing. Now, if you can picture this going up, it's a parallel line. We're going to draw this very same line, but right here on the end so it comes down to this point, and then we'll do the same on this one. So I'm just pulling my pen straight down. And it's really important that you hit the lines right on and don't over-cross 'em 'cause it makes for a real sloppy drawing if you go over the lines. So try to start right where you can picture that line coming down to and hitting right there. And you don't want to make it too far off or you're going to have a huge square and your drawing will be off. Right now, that has to be extended just a little. In this one--I'll--it's easy to do. If you take a look at the line, you can see that that line, if I took a ruler or a piece of paper up, those lines line up, and that's what we want. We want those to line up all the way around. You can see that one, just a hair short, so I'll just extend it a little bit just to make it even. Now that's the stage we have on that to do, and all we have to do now is get ready to put the next stage on.
