GREG HAREM: I personally like to put lilies into a tropical arrangement. Some people don't, but I do. I just like the extra kind of texture and look of them. So with your lily stem, just clean all your leaves off with your hands. They come off very easily. Again, just kind of put it next to your container, look at the height. About--that will do. You'll be inserting between the two Heliconias. Again, it's all about mass, so you'll be using between five to six lily stems, depending on the size of your arrangement. Gives it a nice kind of earthy feel. I love the colors. If you're doing a more feminine arrangement, pink is always the best color to use, like the Acapulco lilies, which have a great fragrance to 'em, and they also look very tropical themselves. Again, just keep inserting until the whole area is full of lilies. Take one more for good measure, and then we'll be doing the roses.
