Hi. I'm Susan Paxton for Expert Village. Today we're working on building a center piece for your dining room table. This one we're doing a small round type of arrangement. But the choices are endless what you can do. You can make it long and low by adding some length to it. We've added our floral foam that has been soaked. We've added our greens. We've added some carnations, some little mums and some alstermaria or Peruvian lilies. I do want to add a few more of the Peruvian lilies. Mostly the white just to add some contrast and we're going to remove the little leaves like we were doing. And we're going to add just a few white and then we're going to add some roses. I want some roses in the top so that we can have somewhat of a formal setting for the table. I'm going to remove a few of the outer petals of the rose because when they grow the roses they have guardian petals on the roses and I wanted to remove those and we can dry those later for potpourri. Then we're going to trim off, cutting it at an angle and putting it in our floral foam. Making sure that it's secure there. We're going to again remove a couple of the outer petals and add another rose. Roses add such a nice formal touch to our center piece. And give us an opportunity to have some elegance with our center piece.
