Hi, I'm Melina and welcome to Expert Village. Today I'm going to show you how to make a beautiful necklace out of polymer clay. For the next step we are going to add some gem stones to our hanging leaf. So what you need I like to use Swarovski crystals because they are the best. They are bright, they are shiny, they sparkle. What you want to do is make sure you have crystals that have a pointy back. You can see these crystals are not flat back . So you are going to take a few of those and what we are going to do is we are going to press them into the clay. These crystals are perfect for clay. So first we are going to take our poker and we are going to make the holes where we want our crystals. You can do this with anything I like making this type of pendant cause it is simple and interesting. But you can in here crystals to anything, you can sculpt what ever you want. All you have to do is make a little hole and then you pick up the crystals and you should have enough of natural moisture on your skin. You don't have to do anything just take your finger, pick up the top of the crystal and press it right to the hole. You want to press deep enough that the crystal is embedded in the fimo. This is great cause you don't have to use glue, you don't have to use any weird way to put this on. You don't have to do anything messy you just pick it up and just put it right in and once we bake it in the oven the crystals would be sealed.
