MIKE LAIS: Hi, I'm Mike Lais. And on behalf of Expert Village, this is playing piano 7th chords. All right. So the 7th chord, as I said, is usually--or the dominant 7th, to be more specific, is used with blues. It's used as the V-chord turnaround. The V-chord is always going to be a dominant chord to get you back to your I. But to use them in the blues, we're going to play all the chords dominant. So here we'll give you an example. We'll stay in the key of C, just for consistency's sake. And we're going to start off in root position right here. Right? And now, I'm going to go to an F dominant right there, but notice I kept the inversion so that my hand doesn't have to move around too much. So we're going to go here then we're going to go to the second inversion for the IV. All right? And then I'm going to go to a first inversion for the V. Right? And then I'm going to go right back to the C7. Okay? So the way that would sound like in a blues form, if you were just playing around, you want to be like--
