Introduction to Exercises that Work Your Biceps

Hi! My name is Riki Butler and I am a fitness professional. I have been working in the fitness field for the past ten and a half years. I am certified in personal training, Pilates and group exercise instructing. I am certified through AFAA and AAAI. I also have a degree from the University of Florida in Health Science Education. On behalf of expertvillage.com, today I will be demonstrating exercises that work your biceps. Your biceps are located on the front of your arm and between your elbow and your shoulder. Your biceps consist of two different muscles, biceps brachii. Your biceps works by a curling motion. So anything we do curling your arms up to your body works the muscles in your biceps. See if you are grocery shopping and you are picking up a grocery bag and holding it you are working your biceps. Today I am going to demonstrate biceps exercises on a couple of different machines, some free weights and we will do them in different directions. So we are going to go ahead and get started.
