How to Do Step in Place Bachata Dance Steps

The last Bachata step, free style, that I'm going to teach you today is In Place. We learned our basic, which basically travels left and right. Remember, we said that this is a romantic and sensual dance. What you do when you stay in place is you're going to add a lot more body movement. After the basic, you step right, you step left. You're going to step out on the right; you're going to bring your whole body. You can basically do whatever styling you want, but you want to move a lot. I start from the rib cage. I move forward, kind of in a figure eight to the back, then I come through again and around. So, it's the same rhythm. You're going to do your one, two, three. Now, on the end, instead of doing the same thing, a hip, I'm actually doing a little kick. So, I'm taking the foot, swiping it behind, see that? So, one, two, three kick. Now we do the same thing on the left, one, two, three kick.
