Chorale Style Writing for A Cappella Music

Hello my name is Duane Carter and on behalf of expertvillage.com I'm talking about writing for A Capella on ensemble. So far we have been considering hymn style writing as the bases for our A Capella writing very important development occurred in chorale writing and that was the use container point. Container point is system of writing where you get to use more then one note per chord that is that you could have passing notes between one chord and the next. This style is called chorale writing and interesting enough one of the most important chorale writing styles is the Bach chorale which of course is recognizes the master of counter point you would hire Sebastian Bach. So we are going to do now is listen to a example of chorale style writing.
