Overview of Good Customer Service

Welcome! This section is called providing great customer and I'm Pam Unruh on behalf of expertvillage.com. So let's go over once again the basic elements of customer service. Remember as I said before, all of these together form the foundation of providing great customer service. Know your customer's expectations, know what they expect of you and know what your expectations are as well. Know what you want to provide that customer service for that person. Utilize your expertise whether these be tools or knowledge that you picked up throughout your experience with that job anything that you can pass on to the customer to make his or hers experience a little bit more quick and easy. This is also providing great customer service. Providing immediate attention whether or not you can assist the customer from the moment they call in or walk into your business, greet them immediately and let them know you will help them as soon as possible. Always, always say thank you to your customer. Be sure to follow up especially if you have promised that customer that you will do so and just use common sense considerations, be courteous and be polite. If you follow these basic elements of customer service, you are going to be laying a very good ground work. As we continue through this series, we will discuss different ways that you can continue to provide great customer service to your customer.
