Exploring the Hymn Style in Arranging A Cappella Music

Hello my name is Duane Carter and on behalf of expertvillage.com I'm talking about writing for a A Capella ensemble. Hymn style is one of the big developments in writing for A Capella ensemble because in the hymn style you utilize a complete chord a chord being 3 notes stacked upon each other a third apart. The chord was the bases if the hymn style because it utilize what is called block chord writing that is one note per chord in each voice who is very important that you did the correct doubling, the correct harmonizations when using this hymn style writing. The hymn style writing became highly significant development within writing from A Capella.
