Hello my name is Duane Carter and on behalf of expertvillage.com I'm here to talk to you about arranging for A Capella on ensemble. One of the most important elements of writing for a A Capella ensemble is to understand the style in which you are going to write for. Style is driven by history and experience of people. So you have to understand the historical and cultural elements that causes the people to have a certain type of musical background. That is why in music composition music is study from a historical prospective therefore it is important that you understand how this music relates to the people and how the people relates to there society in order that you write in vein that is similar to the experience that they have came through.
