So, the next set that we want to do in this Merengue step, basic, one of the most basics is just a right turn. Now remember, we've been in closed position for the traveling. We've traveled in a circle in closed position, we've gone left and right in closed position, forward and front from the perspective of the leader. Now, we're going to do a right turn. So far, all of the moves we've done, we've been dancing as one unit. We've been traveling as one unit, going around, going side as one unit, forward and back, if you get the picture. Now what we're going to do is, I'm going to turn my partner where I don't turn, and she does. So, it's a little bit different. Coming from our closed position, this is what it looks like. And if you've noticed, it's a nice way to start in a closed position and end in an open position. So, again, here we are in our closed position. One of the main things I do is I drop my frame, I lift my hand, open my fingers, and my partner can take as much or as little time as she wants in that turn. Again, if she wanted to want to do it fast, she could just do a fast turn. Or, if she wants to take her own time, she's enjoying herself, she can go ahead and take her time and enjoy herself. And you can enjoy too, gentlemen. So, again. Let's smooth it out now. To the count...5, 6, 7, and basic, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Notice, now we end in open position and there's a lot more things we can do from here.
