How to Smooth Windshield With Resin

Hi, I'm Heath Heine with Clearview Windshield Repair on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip I am going to show you what to do after the injection process. Now after you have injected the resin and let this cure outside or indoors with the lamp, you are going to want to remove the bridge but first unscrew that injector because you don't want that to burst when you release it from the glass. Then you are going to do this with every break whether it be a bullseye, combination, a start and even a crack. You will go ahead and take your pit resin and cellophane patch. You will put this over top. Make sure that you beat it up which I mean by that is more than just like dipped in. It needs to rise to the surface. Remember the pit resin is used to resurface the glass and rebuild that. Then we are going to let this cure for about 5 minutes again and again if you are out in the sun, the sun is just curing this for you. Then you are going to want to get your razor blade ready so that you can scrape down any of that excess resin, flush to the rest of the glass. We are almost done here. We have almost one more part of the process; wiping down the glass and polishing out the repair.
