Types of Fish

CHRISTIE OWNES: Hi. My name is Christie and I'm with Expert Village and I'm teaching you proper care of fish today and a little bit about the different types of fish. Okay. We're going to talk about categories of fish right now. You have fish which is a community fish, the kind you have between an inch to three inches. A fish that small need to go anywhere between a five gallon tank up to a thirty gallon tank which I have here. There's also other type of fish which is a semi-aggressive fish which grow to three inches up to fifteen inches. Some of the semi-aggressive fish on the smaller end can stay in a thirty gallon here or you need a fifty-five gallon tank which I don't have one right one. There is also fish that is into aggressive category which go anywhere between eight inches up to two feet. Those fish need anywhere between a seventy-five gallon tank up to a three hundred gallon tank to accommodate their size. There's also another category which is a goldfish. They are cold water fish and they can go in between a thirty gallon tank, which I have here, or a fifty-five gallon tank. They need bigger tanks because they get so big, a little bit bigger than a football when they're full grown.
