EMIL LAMPRECHT: In this clip I'm going to cover four-ball multiplexes. Now, you obviously have a lot more options than with three-ball multiplexes because, well, you have that extra ball. First you want to get pretty good at just being able to do your stack multiplex. If you haven't done this already, make sure you can do it pretty well in both hands then practice doing it in sync or asynchronously in both hands at the same time. The next step is to just take basic instances where you can add a multiplex. In fact, juggling a three-ball cascade with four balls is a good way to utilize your stack multiplex like so. Another way to do it is a way to start your pattern especially in a synched way. Involves some extra hand speed to snatch the first couple, but if you can get a nice big split it shouldn't be too hard. Other things you can do are split starts like this and then there's a number of line catching tricks that you can do off of multiplexes, inverted penguin catches, behind the back multiplexes. You can multiplex cradle like that. You can multiplex stack like that. Try not to lean like I just did, et cetera. So, now that you have an extra object, multiplexing can become increasingly fun, and as you move on to 5 and 6, you can get some really interesting stuff going. Have fun.
