Sewing the Tube to Make Tab Top Curtains

Hi, welcome to Expert Village, I'm Gretchen Soares with Butterfly Boutique. Okay, now we're going to go to the sewing machine and sew our tabs. Okay, we are going to fold our fabric right sides together and we're are going to just sew a straight line leaving lots of thread at the end and backstitching a little bit. Again we're going to thread off a nice long piece of this. So now we're are going to grab a safety pin. Okay, we're going to tie the end that we left on to the safety pin and start threading it back through itself. Once the fabric starts turning in you'll want to tuck it in so it threads in easily. And you're going to start pulling it. Once it comes out this end we are going to gently but firmly so we don't break the thread but that it comes through, pull it all out. Tah dah, tube. And now we're going to make a second one.
