How to Use Artificial Firewood

Hi, I'm Bobby on behalf of Expert Village. In this series, I am going to show you several different ways that you could easily light a fire within your fireplace and I am going to show you several techniques and things that you need to be aware of when lighting a a fire in your house. I want to take a second and talk about the artificial fire logs. There are many different versions on the market made by different manufacturers. They all work pretty much the same. They are in a flat flammable bag and you normally just light the ends of the bag and it just takes off by itself. It is a very easy way to start a fire especially if you just want a small fire for an atmosphere. This particular size right here will last two hours. They have them that actually go up to 4 hours. So it is pretty simple. You just tear open the sides of it so that it can have airflow on either side. Then you just put it in and light it in a couple of different places. In a couple of minutes you will have a fire that will burn up to 4 hours.
