Hi everyone. I'm DJ Shy and I'm going to explain to you on different ways of how to mix one song to transition to another song. I'm going to show you how to cut. Cutting has not so much mixing involved at all just more like keeping it on beat from one song to the next. That's where you use the crossfader. The crossfader is going to play. We're going to have it play this song first and then we're going to cut this song into that song and I will show you how you do that. I have it queued up already so when I'm ready I can just cut it over and still maintain it on beat. One, two, three, four. It's still on beat. It?s not really mixing but you're still on beat and you're transitioning from one song to another. That is just one way of mixing. Another way of mixing is by powering off. By powering off I'm going to show you another trick without using the effects to go from this song to this song. One, two, three, four. That was another way where you just totally stop the record and it makes that cool "err" sound. I personally like that one too. Those are just a couple of ways on how to transition form one song to another without using effects that are similar to mixing from one song to another.
