Hi everybody. I'm DJ Shy here with Expert Village and I'm going to show you how to mix and importance of using the pitch control. The pitch control lets you slow the song or speed the song. Zero is the original beats per minute of the song. Right now I'll show you an example of how you use the pitch control in order to mix a song together. Right now I'll have this song going. I'm going to mix this song into this song here, a different song, which is a little bit faster. If you listen, the speeds are totally different. It's not mixing. The reason why it's not mixing is because the bpms are different. The song here is slower than the song here. So we would want to either slow or speed up one of the songs. In this case I'm going to slow this song down because it's too fast for that. I already know the bpms. This is ninety and this is ninety two. So because I'm trying to get it to match I'm going to minus two to get ninety. So I minus two to get the ninety and we'll see if it matches this time, and it does match. There we have it.
