DJ Mixing with Headphones

Hi everyone. I'm DJ Shy here on Expert Village and I'm going to explain to you on how to mix and importance of mixing with your headphones. Now you don't want the public to hear you mixing the next song in so that's where the headphones come in because only you can hear that. I will show you exactly what I mean. Right now, you have a song playing for the public. Let's play this beat. Right now, the public is hearing this beat as we speak, but right now, I'm trying to mix another song. So, I'm mixing the other song that only I can hear and it's playing right now so that I can mix. I'm going to let you hear what i hear through my headphones when I'm trying to mix the next song. That is me. That is what I hear and not the public. So right now, the scratching noise that your hearing right now is what i hear, not the public and I'm getting ready to throw in my next song. And that is how you use your headphones.
