Vacuuming a Fireplace

Hi, I'm Bobby on behalf of Expert Village. Everyone loves having a warm fireplace on a cold winter day. The downside to that is you have to clean the fireplace. In this series we are going to tell you how to clean the inside of the fireplace, your chimney and even repaint the inside of your fireplace to make it look new. Okay so now I am going to use my vacuum to try to remove any of those last minutes ashes that I possibly can. On this vacuum I've got one of those brush attachments on it and it is really great. It really helps the vacuum get into the crevices of the motor joints and it kind of just sweeps any material that is on there that is caked onto the sides. Once I turn it on, you can see here. It is doing a great job. Just continue on all the way around and get as much possible as you can. This is one of our last steps before we are ready to paint our fireplace so we want to make sure and get as much as we can in this step right now.
