This next trip I'm going to show you is called a 'half shower,' or is site-swap notated as 5-3. Now you'll find that a lot of good even numbers tricks have crossing throws. This is your first example. The trick with half shower is that one ball is going high enough so that several balls can be thrown underneath it to the opposite side. You want the rhythm to be asynchronous so that you can fall in and out of an asynchronous fountain, and back into it. You also should be able to do this on both sides, though that will take some practice. That was also an example of an improper height throw, as you saw I fell into synchronous four balls for a second. You want to try to keep that asynchronous beat. It will take some time to learn to adjust heights properly and get used to seeing both a ball high and a ball low, but this is a really good trick to nail early on, and will help you with tricks farther down the road.
