Marking Your Lie in Disc Golf

Thanks for joining me on Expert Village. Hello, I am Patrick Kitten with the Wind Riders Disc Golf Club at beautiful McKinsey Park in Lubbock, Texas. Okay let's talk about marking your drive, marking your upshot and marking a missed putt. Whenever you mark the lie your stance for you next shot should be directly behind the lie and the basket, which means that your foot would be right there, the basket in the distance and that is where you would throw. It is also acceptable to throw like this as long as your other foot is no closer to the basket than your lie foot. One more thing to know during a round of play is that whenever you mark your lie you actually can get a running start; throw and run pass it if you are not within 10 meters of the basket. If you are within 10 meters of the basket and you mark your lie then you have to maintain your balance. So you cannot run pass, you must maintain your balance within 10 meters.
