Types of Headphones for DJs

Hey everyone I'm DJ Shy here with Expert Village here to explain to you about the importance of headphones. Now you need headphones in order to hear the songs without the public hearing it. So you could actually purchase headphone you know there's a variety of them. So depending on your budget on your needs. Let me show you the difference. These are a pair of super headphones. It does the trick, it's $15 bucks however you may need to buy an adapter to fit this mini and two way quarter inch. Cause there usually in quarter inputs for the mixer. The difference between these and the more expensive one's. These are Pioneer headphones that already come with a quarter inch. There $150 dollars, however these are built specifically for a DJ's needs. You can see how the headphones swivel up and down. Some DJ's like to hear the monitor. So they flip it and that way they can hear what their playing outside versus what their playing inside. The cushion here is very, very good. It's comfortable for the ear. You could isolate all the sounds on the outside into what your hearing inside your headphones. So these are awesome for spinning. I recommend it. But these are just as good. It's up to you.
