Basic Scratching Exercises for DJ's

Hey everybody, I'm DJ Shy here with Expert Village telling you how to do your exercises so you can improve the basics of the baby scratch. I want to tell you first and up most that your left hand has to be as good as your right hand, kind of like ambidextrous I guess. So not only do you want to practice your baby scratch on your right, but also on your left and I will show you how to start that. We're going to use an instrumental; a basis beat not too fast, something kind of slow. So it's going to sound like this and now I'm going to use a basic scratch and practice my baby scratches with my left hand. Pretty much you're going to do for the duration of the whole song and once you master that, then you will want to go to practice on a faster song and then a faster song and then a faster song so that your left hand would be as good as your right hand and it's just a basic exercise that you could train your left hand to be just as good as your right with the baby scratches.
