Thanks for joining me on Expert Village. Hello! My name is Patrick Kitten and I am with the Wind Riders Disc Golf Club, MacKenzie Park, Lubbock, Texas. After you go through all of these little things, how to throw, where to throw, findings the courses, so forth, really the next step to take is to play a tournament. The tournament play is unbelievable. You will become a better player within one weekend more than anything else you can do, because you are going to see all kinds of types of throws, you are going to see all kinds of new techniques, new equipment, so forth. You are going to be talking to your peers, lot of guys will really help you out with your throws and just anybody that has played a tournament they always say I wish I would have done it sooner, so take that step, play a tournament. Also I want to point out that tournaments are not made only for great players, they are made for all levels of play, there is recreational division, there is intermediate division, there is advanced, there is advanced master division, there is age divisions on top, there is age divisions below, there’s females, there’s the pro-divisions, so it caters to all different player levels, so never be afraid to go to that tournament that you see the fliers on at the course.
