In the seven levels of play there are two levels that reward you with points. They are fan-tan, which has a reward of forty points, twenty five points and ten points. Plus, depending on who comes in first, second or third, first being greater. Then the person that goes out last is penalized minus ten. Tricks is easy. There's thirteen tricks. Five points a trick. Sixty five points. All of the others are penalties. If you take the king of hearts, the barbu card, you lose thirty points. If you take the, in the game of hearts, each heart counts two against you and the ace of hearts is six against you. If you take queens, each queen you take, doesn't matter what the suit is, it's minus six against you. There are two points each for losing tricks nellows, that's a trick where you're trucking to duck and dump everything you can, so you avoid taking tricks. That is minus twenty six. If we add these all going across, the grand total is one hundred forty. So there are one hundred forty. This is the standard game. There are one hundred forty positive points and one hundred forty negative points. If you choose to play level eight in the short game, called ravage city, its plus eighteen and minus eighteen. Eighteen for the person who took the most cards in a suit, like six clubs. And eighteen for the person who takes the least number of cards in a suit. Again it has to equal and the score keeper has to know what they're doing to keep an accurate score. The doubles make it more complicated. Four player game. Follow suit. Familiarize yourself with the structure of the game and you will really enjoy the individual components.
