The Helicopter Juggling Trick

EMIL LAMPRECHT: Now, this next trick might have many different names. I just call it helicopters. Now, what you're going to do is you're going to take the center box and spin it horizontally as opposed to vertically. Looks like this. Now, you can do it as a 180 or a 360. The 360 is obviously harder and your lift has to be very even to maintain it's uprightness as it turns in this direction. Because the box is fighting aerodynamically when it's spinning this direction, it usually takes more force than you think to get it around. A nice even lift and a nice little shift of weight is really all it takes. It will take a little while to get the feel of what's right and what's wrong. But overall, it's not a very hard trick. Again. That's helicopters.
