The option for ravaged city. Let's look at this suit of spades, on the surface it doesn't look like very much and in this game you are declaring a trump suit or no trump. You don't, although some people have the option that every hand is just simply played high card, no trump. Doesn't matter, know the option that is available for ravaged city. This is the eighth level, this is an optional level, this is used primarily when you want to play a short eight handed game. Now the idea of ravaged city is not to take four, at the very most five, cards in the same suit. For example, if I took a trick of spades, and I already have four spades okay. Well that's okay but if I'm forced to take another trick of spades. I've got eight spades. I've taken eight spades. It doesn't matter what I've taken eight of, if I'm forced to take four tricks in the same suit that's fatal, because not many people are going to take eight tricks in their suits. So the idea in ravaged city is to avoid taking more than one trick in a suit. Also, good, wily opponents are going to be dumping cards, they're going to watch to see what I've taken because there's a premium of eighteen positive points, any ties split okay? So keep in mind that you're going to declare a hand that's balanced and you're going to declare a hand that's very similar to last two. That's a comparable example. So if we look at this previous one from last two.
