How to Potty Train a Dog

Hi, this is Ryan Gwilliam with Expert Village and I'm gonna teach you how to make it easier to potty train your puppy. When I first got this guy, we had a big problem with him peeing in the house. So what we decided to do was get a bell, put it by the door where he goes out to go to the bathroom and every time he would go out and I would rub his nose into the bell like that. Then as soon as I would do that, I would take him outside to go to the bathroom and now whenever he wants to go outside, he will come in here and ring the bell. I may be in my office and before I would be in the office and he would come look at me and I didn't know what he wanted so he would pee on the floor. So, this solved that so he can just come over and ring the bell and then when he does I let him outside. Then I've actually even, you can even train your dog to do pretty much whatever you want and I trained him too. I leave the door propped like this and he comes in and he pushes the door open and then he'll close it himself. So we'll get him to do that now. Putter come here, come on. I'll have to get him a treat to get him to do it right now. But if I ever leave it like that, he will do it automatically. I can be downstairs in the basement and I'll come up and the door will be closed. It's an awesome thing.
