Pin Bottom to Edge of Doll Sleeping Bag

This is Vicki Walker on behalf of Expert Village. We are working today on a baby doll sleeping bag. We have sewn around the bottom edge to close the bottom of the bag but in the last step what we where doing was to sew around the top edge. We are sewing the bright green coordinating trim that matches with the lining in the inside. We started here on the side and went all the way around the top and then back to the side where we began. Now we would pin, I turned the top part of this ribbon so we would not have a rough edge here. We are going to cover this part to cover those raw edges and I would pin that first. Then we would continue on pinning around the bottom, towards the bottom down the side. I have rounded the bottom edge rather then having a point here to match the one on the top. We would continue the pinning all the way around. In the next step we would be back in the sewing machine to sew down this trim from this side all the way down to the bottom edge.
