Sharpening a Push Mower by Hand

Hi my name if Fred Carson. I'm from Carson's Saw Shop in Eugene, Oregon. I've been sharpening tools for over thirty years and I am here with Expert Village. Ok, this is a hand push lawnmower. I need to sharpen each blade here. Now it's got a bed knife down here. By chance you don't have all the tools that I have here. We also have a grinding compound. It's just a plain grinding compound that they used for grinding valves and different things like that. It's called a 220 grit. It's mixed with oil, it's kind of hard and then you just use your thumbs to reel it around. Doesn't do the bevels like we get but it does work.
