Replacing Blades when Sharpening a Push Mower

Hi my name is Fred Carson and I'm from Carson's Saw shop in Eugene, Oregon. I've been sharpening tools for over 30 years and I am here with Expert Village. This is the bad knife of the push lawnmower and we need to put it on a bid knife sharpening, and this is the sharpener here, it works, and it's pretty important to get this quite level. A little adjustment here. This is the wheel, ready to fire it up, make it tight here, it's looking pretty good, pretty short, pretty easy. Rusty as it was it still looks real nice. There, that's pretty much it, take your little stone here that happens to be diamond, diamond cutters work pretty good, get a square edge on there, taking the wire edge off and were getting an edge on the top part of the bad knife because we already have the nice sharp edge on the face. Were all done with this and will take it off, put a little bit of oil on there to stop the rust and now we half a sharp bed knife and now we are going to move on the reel and we'll get to that in just a second.
