Finishing the Spline on a Sliding Screen Door

Hi! Don Golden here back with Expert Village. We are winding up here and we are almost done with our screen door. I am getting down to the nitty gritty of finishing up the spline. Now what you want to do, we've got down to the this very end corner here at the finish and I've noticed that I didn't do such a great job at the beginning or maybe not that I didn't do a great job but when it stretches all around, when we come back to this part you are going to have a little bit that maybe have gathered, got little bubbles in it. What you want to do is check the whole screen for that right now and get everything tight and tidy. So again all you want to do is pull this first part of the spline up that we started with initially and just give it a little pull. Here's where we ended and here is where we begin so let's just pull this a little bit and get it tight and tidy, there you go. We are going to trim, we are going trim our spline right now just like so and that is that. Okay now I am going to run this roller all around again and just make sure that it is seated. Just give it a nice little push all the way here, all the way here, continue on. I don't see any bubbles. Now I think we did a pretty good job initially so I don't have to pull anything out. There we go and we are coming around the bend and that is it. When we come back, I am going to trim off all of the excess screen and we are going to reinstall it and the job will be done.
