Getting to the Distributor Cap

Hi! My name is Nathan McCullough. On behalf of expert village.com, in this clip, we’re going to discuss how to gain access to your distributor cap. On most vehicles, some portion of the air intake system will need to be removed or disassembled. On this vehicle in particular, we have to remove the cold air intake, which this black plastic piece here. It has 3 mounting bolts, I have already pre-loosened them and we’ll take them off with our fingers here. There’s 1, there’s 2, and the third one. I like to put all these nuts and bolts in my pocket so I don’t lose them. Pop this guy off right like that. There you have it. This is your distributor cap, this orange plastic portion here.
