Sliding Screen Door Repair

Hey everybody, I'm Don Golden with Expert Village. I have been renovating, rebuilding and remodeling homes in the LA area for about 15 years now so I am a true do it yourselfer when it comes to fixing stuff around the house. Now today's project is kind of a fun one, it's not too hard but everybody has probably had his problem at one point or other around the house. It's a broken screen door. The first thing you want to know is who did it. Right? It was either him or me. See this hole? I'd say by the location and the size it was him. That is what I am going to tell the wife, okay? What I am going to do when it comes to fixing this, I am going to show you how first to get it off the track and then we are going to take off this old mesh that is no good anymore. I've got the new mesh, I'm going to identify the rollers and how you adjust it and how you put the mesh in and get the thing back up to where it needs to be. It's a job that really anybody can do it. So when we come back, I'll show you how to do it and we'll get started.
