How to Cut & Pin Trim for a Tablecloth

This is Vicki Walker for Expert Village. We are continuing to work on the decorative runner that we have sewn the pieces together for. It is time to apply the trim, we would cut the gimp trim just the width 13 inches the width of our runner. I would need to cut another 1,2,3 pieces after this one the same width of that. We would pin the gimp to the fabric right over the seam. So the seam is full covered once it is sewn. I would continue this on the other 3 seams. In the next clip we would be sewing the gimp to complete decorations on the top part of the runner and then we would continue on to the sides and the ends.
