Fast Moving Pistons in Orange Box's Portal

JOHN SEXTON: Hi. I'm John Sexton on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're going to be learning how to play Portal, a game by Valve Software, a company with which I have no affiliation. So now we keep on moving. And here is an area with a lot of fast-moving pistons. There's no way we're going to be able to get through these by walking so we'll just shoot a portal in between them and skip 'em that way. Now here's a couple of other pistons that are crushing and these are again moving too fast for us to climb through so we just have to time it right and shoot a portal into the room behind them. You can jump and it helps to get it over that second piston there. And here we go into this next room. Above this, there's a whole network of pistons. Things are getting quite a bit more complicated now. But if we just take it one step at a time we'll be able to climb to the top. So we can set an exit portal here up above this large piston, just make an entrance in the wall, and look down and carefully step out onto it. Again if you don't move around too much you won't fall off of these 'cause they don't go all the way back to the wall though that's not true of some of the pistons at the very top.
