Moving Pistons in Orange Box's Portal

JOHN SEXTON: Hi. I'm John Sexton on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're going to be learning how to play Portal, a game by Valve Software, a company with which I have no affiliation. So now we're actually on top of one of those block dispensers again, and we want to go up there. So we can place a portal right here and make an exit and then we can just use the exit there high up to jump on to that raised platform. Now we're in a red area. So that's the first part of the industrial postgame. So here we are in the second part of the postgame, or the continuation of Test Chamber 19, and we see that we're in room with a bunch of pistons that are very tall. Some of them go up higher than others though, and we can see that these two go up all the way to the ceiling and they make black marks on the ceiling to show us that. So we can use that as a way to get out of this room, because if we place a portal there and we make our exit somewhere else, that piston will actually help us out and push us right on through.
